15 Months (and walking!)

For weeks (ok, months) we've been waiting for Mason to take those priceless first steps. It seemed like there was a stretch of time when every time we took mason to the nursery at church, there was another (younger) child than mason who had learned to walk during the course of that week. Masson was jut not interested. Why walk when I can crawl perfectly well?

Finally, his time came. Ok, so maybe Matt and I would childishly toss around a cherished item of Mason's to get him motivated to walk from one place to another. After doing this with several attempts, our little man finally let us know that he was ready. He toddled across the family room ever so cautiously with arms stretched out at either side. We tried to catch some video footage, but the best we could get was actually a few days later in our basement. So proud of you, Mason! Welcome to your toddler years!
